*Returning Chorale students do not need to re-audition this year, but must communicate they are returning to claim their spot.
At this time, the Anderson University Chorale is the only group that tours regularly.
The prepared piece is only for students interested in auditioning for Chorale. The purpose of the prepared piece is to see how you rehearse on your own, and how well you hold your part. You will sing your part with a recording of the other three parts (your part is not included) and demonstrate proficiency in holding your own part.
No - the practice tracks for each voice type only have the other three voices, and your part is missing. That is the track you'll be singing with for the audition (if you audition for Chorale).
Choir placement will be completed and posted by Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Absolutely!
False! You can take choral ensembles for "zero credit," meaning you'll be able to join the ensemble without having to pay the extra fee for an overload. As long as your schedule permits it, your course load should not restrict students from enrolling in choral ensembles.
