The Anderson University Chorale will embark on an unforgettable musical and cultural journey through Greece in Summer 2027, exploring the rich history, beauty, and traditions of one of the world’s most influential civilizations. Centered in Athens, students will perform in and around the historic capital while visiting iconic sites such as the Acropolis, Old Town Plaka, Corinth, Epidaurus, and Mycenae. The experience also includes a cruise through the stunning Saronic Islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. Through performance, shared community, and immersive cultural experiences, students will deepen their musicianship, broaden their global perspective, and continue the Chorale’s long tradition of representing Anderson University through artistry and service.
In May 2023, the Anderson University Chorale completed a two-week Nordic Tour through Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, presenting concerts in historic churches and cultural centers across Scandinavia. The tour included performances in Bergen, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, and several communities throughout Finland, while also allowing students to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Norwegian fjords, Nordic capitals, and the rich musical traditions of Northern Europe. Alongside performances, students explored historic landmarks, traveled by overnight Baltic cruise, and spent time in retreat and community together in the Finnish countryside. The tour reflected the Chorale’s longstanding tradition of international musical excellence, cultural engagement, and ministry through music.
